Porsche All Electric Cars In The Works For 2011

The well known uber sports car brand Porsche, is now working on a line of all electric cars.

The line is in the very early stages, as the main concern for Porsche is keeping the speed as usual, but with lower emissions and greater efficiency. The all electric Porsche line of cars will hit the testing phase in 2011.

The electric sports car scene is heating up with Porsche's confirmation of a new all-electric sports car based on its Boxster. The company is conducting daily tests of three research cars to study battery systems and electric drive components.

What is one way to compete against Apple, or at the very least grab some market share in the tablet industry?

this is NOT the tablet, there’s no photo of the solar powered device just yet

How about introduce a solar powered tablet. This is what a company based in India has done, created a prototype for the first ever solar powered tablet computer. And as if that weren’t enough innovation, they have set it up so that it only costs $35. Though it is aimed at students, it is still one upping Apple in the “unique and interesting” category.

At its standard price, the tablet will be capable of Web browsing, word processing and even video conferencing. The solar feature will cost extra, but its value outweighs the few extra dollars in an energy-hungry area.

Post-its or sticky notes were made to act as reminders for forgetful people and now it looks like an eco-friendly version is out. But other than being notepads to jot on, it looks like 3M has added another dimension to them, making them great for crafting purposes.

The new line of eco-friendly post-its come in various forms with some green intent. This includes:

Post-it Greener Notes which are made with 100% recycled paper and a plant based adhesive.
Post-it Super Sticky Notes that are made with at least 30% post consumer recycled content.
Post-it Recycled Notes that are made with 100% recycled content with at least 30% of that being PCW.
Post-it Super Sticky Recycled Easel Pads- the writing pad is made from at least 30% PCW.

Solar Powered Dual Pod Concept Transport Vehicle

We have yet another potential transport solution, solar powered and all. It comes in the form of the Dual Pod Transport concept design, a concept vehicle powered by a powerful electric motor. It solicits power from photovoltaic cells via its upper back portion and comes with a giant roof top.

It boasts of two non-pneumatic wheels which are constructed from a system of splinted flexible blades that act as the car suspension without the need for traditional air, springs, or oil shocks.
