Pedal-free bike from Volkswagen will take you to your destination via an electric motor. A full charge will last you approximately 12 miles and it can be recharged via the power in your vehicle or traditional AC outlet. This is one cool looking electric bike.

The e-bike is fold-able and meant to be stowed away in the tire compartment of your car, which really doesn’t make sense. Since a bike (electric or otherwise) is not meant to be carried along with your car? So not sure on that feature.

PETA Installs Vegetarian Starter Kit Kiosks In NYC

The lucky residents of New York City have been graced by a series of new curb-side kiosks that hold vegetarian starter kits. The kiosks are similar to the type that hold local newspapers and magazines.

These were donated and placed by PETA to help spread the word and bring awareness (on a street level) about eating less meat, or cutting it out entirely. On hand were a few celebrities who handed out some of the kits to walkers and other pedestrians, such as animal-friendly rocker Joan Jett.

Over 30 kiosks in all were installed in the City of New York.
