Simply called, this is actually a power strip in another form designed by Soon Mo Kang. The Tok Took Power Plug takes its design from a retractable pen: push in the back to extend the prongs, then push the back in again to retract them.

This new concept should make unplugging easy and also means you can toss it in a bag without gouging everything else in there. The concept is ideal but there is no definite word on when it would be officially out.

San Francisco is America’s Least Wasteful City

For 2 years now, San Francisco has gained the nod as the "Least Wasteful City" thanks to a study conducted by Nalgene. This study coincides with Earth Day and aims to encourage cities and their residents to make small changes such as using a reusable water bottle in place of bottled water, really can add up to make a big difference.

And while that honor of being least wasteful goes to San Francisco, Houston has been deemed the most wasteful according to the survey. Other cities at the top of the list are Seattle (2) New York (3) Portland, OR (4) and Boston (5). Joining Houston (25) at the bottom this year were Cleveland (24) Atlanta (23) Tampa (22) Indianapolis (21) and Miami (20).
