Ruro the Recycling Robot Teacher

Here is something advanced for you. Recycling is a topic that everyone has been tasked to do and this time, a robot may just guide us to do just that. The robot is called RURO, a communications robot that teaches the young ones a thing or two about recycling through recorded messages.

Other than that, it can even record messages via his metal body. Also, RURO relies on Kondo KRS-4024HV hobby servo motors to move around slowly, while a spinning light atop its head enables it to detect a thief.

Minimalistic Living in NYC

Posted: 14 Feb 2011 05:40 PM PST

A couple in NYC have hired an architect to decorate and construct an apartment that allows for very little (if any) clutter.

The apartment is just a tad over 700 square feet and architect Dash Marshall has equipped the space with a series of decorations, tools and accessories which keep most items out of plain view. In other words, hidden away. This is to keep the space clean, free and space-efficient.

Have a look yourself at the space age looking designs and decide for yourself if this is your definition of minimalism or something else altogether.
