Are you a fan of recycled metal art or what I like to call industrial art? Then you’ll love the whimsy and cleverness of Heavy Metal Milkman and his wacky off-the-wall creations, all handmade in Grey Tennessee with recycled materials. Each piece is either a recognizable object such as the aforementiond Snoopy Dog we just wrote about or a more abstract character such as the Fondue D2 pictured above. This one is recycled metal Key Lime Kitty cat from the immensely talented and visually gifted Heavy Metal Milkman who sells his eco friendly wares on Etsy. Check out that vintage Viewmaster. Nice! Each piece is handmade and composed mostly of household items that he salvages or finds in junk centers in his local Tennessee town. His craft is beautiful to look at, for more of his cool creations be sure to visit his Etsy shop. Excellent eco friendly find on Etsy from Heavy Metal Milkman. This guy takes metal pieces and turns them into one-a-kind super cool recycled metal objects, such as this Snoopy Dog. The pieces are intertwined, bent, melded and or configured in such a way as to create an object or character. Well you can sell them on eBay or do as this Etsy seller has done, turn them into cool hard disk drives and then sell them. Pretty neat, huh? He takes old and gently used Super Nintendo cartridges and recycles them into external hard disk drives you can use on your PC. Apparently they’re selling like hot cakes too, just have a look at the sidebar area where the SOLD button is located. The Doudou Veilleuse Toys were designed to help kids sleep better, green and of course comfortable. | Voltair Wind Powered Generator Posted: 05 Feb 2011 08:04 AM PST  As the search for new alternative rendering energy concepts continue to increase, here is an interesting one from Luis Castanheira. It is the Voltair, a wind-powered generator which features nearly free energy to use. The generator is made of an array of fans set on the median of a highway. Each of them are turned by air, something that is done when cars go speeding by. The main goal of this project is to reduce the complexity of the product as much as possible.
