They are called the Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), a project that was inspired by a lecturer over at the MIT. This is a high-resolution radar that can be used in moving vehicles for mapping purposes.

Breadborable electronics, coffee cans and a laptop were used to come up with this radar project, something that should inspire techies and geeks when they want to come up with something useful and cool. The details and instructions of how to make the SAR aren't released yet, but the lecturer has promised to release them once the class is finished.

A keen feature is its ability to be folded. It can be folded into a stylish black canvass bag. It has a 14.4V lithium battery which is concealed in an alloy frame. The two speed, 120-watt high torque magnetic motor helps you reach speeds of up to 12mph.

Aside from that, the electric bike also comes with LED lights and should be one of the future lush alternatives for people seeking reliable transport. If you are interested in getting one, be ready to shell out around $970 for it.
