It was designed by Adrian Van Anz and combines the features you would see from a bike and a motorcycle. They are custom-built, taking into consideration the tastes and styles of customers. The large wheels and white balloon tires of the Deringer Cycles are for enhanced performance and safety. The Pittsburgh Penguins have their own Recycling program in North America, a campaign which aims to spur some environmental growth and perhaps entice other sports teams and bodies to do the same. The Pittsburgh Penguins Recycling plan involves encouraging fans to recycle their waste at all official games. While the effort seems to be a re-run of sorts since it is practically reminded at most events, you have to admit that their concentrated initiative may indeed leave some inspirations as well as make people to start being more eco-friendly. | eCoupled Chargers for the Tesla Roadster Posted: 07 Jan 2011 10:50 PM PST ![]() Electric Vehicles are expected to get their share of problems as far as being juiced up and it looks like a glimpse into the future has already been shown off. One of the more popular EVs we know of, the Tesla Roadster, will be getting something new with an inductive receiver to ensure that the vehicle will be wirelessly juiced up. The system is currently about 90% as efficient as charging the vehicle via cable and is smart enough to shut itself off if something comes between the car and the charger. It is controlled using an iPhone app, and the company claims that the cost of installing a wireless power transmitter are comparable to a standard charging station. | GE Power Plug Shown at CES 2011 Posted: 07 Jan 2011 10:49 PM PST ![]() Also on hand at the CES 2011 in Las Vegas were some eco-friendly gadgets meant to help you save on rising energy bills. The General Electric Power Plug was shown off, a device meant to help address some issues when it comes to proper energy consumption and eliminate the so-called vampire-power. Additionally, the device aims to make sure that your devices get the proper amount of current to make sure you don't get higher electric bills.
