Bamboo Toothbrush From Australia

Posted: 04 Jan 2011 10:53 AM PST

Most US toothbrushes are made using plastic, the kind you can’t recycle. And since most dentists recommend that we replace our brush after 3 months of use, you can imagine how many end up in a local landfill each year.

But if the toothbrush is made from a renewable resource such as bamboo it will be easier to replace and remake. A company in Australia is making what they call “the environmental toothbrush” made from bamboo which you can view and or purchase via their website.

It’s a no frills brush that does its singular job and comes in a multiple pieces box. For more info, have a look online.

The Eco Printer Boasts of Erasable Ink

Posted: 04 Jan 2011 09:29 AM PST

Too bad the Eco Printer is only a concept for now but the intent and design surely does address people who often have the habit of wasting ink and paper for work or for school. The Eco Printer was designed to make use of special ink that is composed of photographic materials that disappear when exposed to UV radiation.

With that in mind, you don't have to worry about rising printer ink costs and mounting erroneous papers with wrong prints on them. With the said process, you can simply erase the erroneous printed stuff and re-use the paper for printing once again.
