The Re: Energy Bike

In another invention that should be cool with the gadget-loving consumers in the world today, here is a bike that should provide some transport solutions and recharge your gadgets the old way, the kinetic way. The Re: Energy Bike was designed by Jinsik Kim and Bosung Seo and was actually a finalist for the Incheon International Design Award.

The bike draws its energy from the rotation of the wheels. The energy generated is then stored and can be used to recharge portable devices like mobile phones and mp3 players using a socket equipped on the wheel itself. This remains a concept for now but should be something neat since it does serve a dual purpose.
