Finnish Designer Attila Designs has come up with another cool fashion accessory with some eco-friendliness in mind with the Treebark Bag. These stylish handmade bags are made from recycled elm handles from the Central Park by the sea side in Helsinki.

The Fisker Hybrid Car Called Karma

Posted: 27 Dec 2010 11:48 AM PST

Fisker Automotive unveils its latest hybrid car offering called the Karma. This is another electric car creation which was actually announced last 2007. This is the company's first plug-in hybrid creation which still has not reached the production stages.

Apparently the cost of purchasing one may have something to do with this. Priced for about $95,000, it may be too costly for a consumer to consider buying. The Fisker Karma will be a four-door plug-in hybrid capable of doing 50 miles of all-electric driving and then further hundreds of miles with the help of a gas engine.

Mass production is reportedly set for February, 2011, hopefully for real this time.

With the use of tiny Chinese-made solar panels perched atop their homes to produce solar energy that lights their huts and provides small-scale electrical independence, a change in lifestyle is surely an improvement. An added bonus is that this solar energy lights African huts without the need for an electrical grid.
