| Solar Powered Artificial Rainbow Machine Posted: 25 Dec 2010 07:22 PM PST  A rainbow is something that we do not really see last very long, a rarity if you will. Until now, there was no possible way to enjoy the striking colors of a rainbow but Michael Jones McKean was able to create a machine that can render a rainbow the artificial way. McKean has designed an artificial rainbow machine that makes use of reclaimed rainwater and sunlight to display rainbows. The machine makes use of high-powered jet pumps and custom fountain nozzles to spray water into the air, creating the conditions needed for a rainbow to appear.
