| Europe’s Largest Photovoltaic Plant Inaugurated Posted: 27 Nov 2010 09:04 AM PST  The world’s largest photovoltaic plant has finally been inaugurated after being announced last March. SunEdison inaugurated the plant between Bologna and Venice and is reportedly capable of producing 70MW of power. This is enough to power about 17,000 homes! The said plant is one of the largest single solar farms in Europe and should be a big help in reducing carbon emissions Europe has to deal with, something by as much as 40,000 tons or maybe even more.
