The Viva Light Tower is actually a lamp post which could address wiser public lighting in the future. While we have seen many public lighting utilities that have feted on solar power, this is another lighting solution that can solicit power from the sun, wind or even biochemicals.

This is of course a concept and it looks like the chances of these lighting solutions to become a reality may be far off. Costing is expected to be outrageous for this one but who knows if we may actually look up to it once the whole carbon emission issue rises all the more.

The Hanguenado Concept

Here are some lighting ideas powered by the solar kind! Called the Hanguenado Concept, these things look like pair of shoes whose laces are tied together to keep them hung up there. However they are actually wooden light-boxes which should be great for use in any environment you would need lighting assistance.

They are made of local wood and held together using water-based adhesives. They make use of low energy consuming LED lightings which are solar powered during the day after which they can render 8.5 hours of light once fully charged.
