The Kia Soul Flex Shows Off Eco-friendly Features

Economical, conservative and lesser pollution are what best describes the Kia Soul Flex. Announced at the Brazilian Motor Show last week, this is the first Flexible Fuel Vehicle (FFV) from Korea. It runs on ethanol taken from sugar cane which is considered a cheaper alternative fuel for vehicles running today.

The Kia Soul Flex is also fuel-efficient and can reportedly run on 100% ethanol, 100% gasoline or a mixture of both. The Kia Soul Flex is scheduled to be on sale in Brazil by early next year but sadly there was no mention on when this vehicle would hit the other international regions.

The Electric Personal Transporter

After the Segway, you know for a fact that something alternative would come out soon. Hence, that day has come and the latest brainchild comes in the form of the Electric Personal Transporter. This is a four-wheeled electric personal vehicle which can reach a top speed of 20MPH while running in an effortless, smooth manner across paved paths, driveways, or sidewalks.

It is armed with a couple of 700-watt electric motors located by the 16" drive wheel. Balance and steering are controlled via two trailing 4 1/2″ wheels. The handlebars will help you control your speed, while a hand-brake is there for confident stops.

The Electric Personal Transporter is available in black, red and silver and costs about $1,895.
