| SunChips Eco-Friendly Bags Rejected Posted: 06 Oct 2010 11:01 AM PDT ![]() No other than consumers themselves have rejected the new eco-friendly packaging of SunChips. The reason? Well they were noisy! While it seems odd to find how the bag was made in the first place, it seems that the irritating sounds are simply annoying for people who want to enjoy the contents of each SunChip bag. These new biodegradable bags were shifted to some months back, but apparently the design and construction of the whole packaging was just too much to bear.
In all, it seems that SunChips is in a bind. Do you go green or worry more on the incoming "greens" (money). Need Green Web Hosting? Check out our latest review of green web hosts. SunChips Eco-Friendly Bags Rejected Related posts |
| Motorola Unveils an Eco-Friendly Wind Turbine Generator Posted: 06 Oct 2010 10:59 AM PDT ![]() While the power struggle continues, Motorola tries to dip its hands in the power-rendering niche with a concept generator of its own. This is called the Motorola Mobile Wind Turbine Generator, a device that was fully rendered in 3D to show how events could be powered in case the need arises. The Mobile Wind Turbine concept generator will be electrically powered and have a backup gas generator on board. The gas generator will provide power to the electric motors to make sure that the vehicle will not end up stranded in one place once the batteries are all used up. Need Green Web Hosting? | Opel Icona Transportation Concept for Water and Land Posted: 05 Oct 2010 06:12 PM PDT There have been a lot of wacky vehicle concepts to date and here is another one called the Opel Icona. This is described as a family vehicle that is powered by an electric hub motor at the front and an impeller drive at the rear. A keel and sail are also concealed within the frame of the vehicle while if the vehicle is used on water, the rear wheels are drawn up to the body by the trailing suspension arms. Being able to commute on both water and land, the designer sees such a vehicle opening up new habitation possibilities but, like most concept designs, this one asks more questions than it answers. | Posted: 05 Oct 2010 06:11 PM PDT ![]() They are called the Fish 'n Flush, a catchy bathroom décor. This is a fish tank toilet kit which actually consists of two water reservoirs. One holds water for the fish and the other supplies the toilet. While the reservoir that supplies the toilet is much smaller, it uses less water to flush. The idea is to perhaps make you think twice and be more aware of the amount of water you use. Hope it does help! Need Green Web Hosting? Check out our latest review of green web hosts.
