The Electric Rickshaw Concept

Rickshaws have been around especially when it comes to coming up with some eco-friendly forms of transportation but adding some electric juice should all the more spice them up.

Apparently these Electric Rickshaws which were on hand at the Peugeot Concours Design in 2006, makes use of the concept of gyroscopes and travels on a set of just two-wheels instead of the usual three rickshaws around the globe use instead today.

The wheels are each attached to an asymmetrical axle permits them to change their relative centers enabling it to have different configurations.

To enter, one must use the front of the vehicle. The Rickshaw also has individually powered wheels, allowing it to rotate on the spot making parking a lot easier. This one can seat two.

The myGrid drop-and-go charging system can handle up to four devices at once. Users simply have to add a Power Sleeve or Power Clip accessory to their device and place it anywhere on the pad.

The myGrid starter kit costs £69.99 compared to the Powermat which is available for £55.55.
