Nikolay Bojilov wins Triumph Inspiration Awards

Last night, Nikolay Bojilov from Bulgaria walked away as the overall winner of the Triumph Inspiration Awards. The contest saw 27 fashion student finalists from around the world presenting their unique lingerie showpieces inspired by the design motto "Shape Sensation".

As part of the prize package Bojilov will win €15,000 and the opportunity to turn his creation, 'Morphology' into a piece for Triumph's limited edition range.

Caroline Charles Spring Summer 2010

Caroline Charles show was throw back to the 60's. A throwback to the era of "Mad Men" and "American Dreams". Waists were cinched in with thin belts and skirts were voluminous and floaty.

Bora Aksu Spring Summer 2011 video

Today, Turkish Born designer, Bora Aksu presented his collection at London Fashion Week. The former New Gen winner ent models down the runway wearing body con dresses based on giant ants, with intricate ruffles and padding that outlined the segments of an ants body ( head, thorax and abdomen ). T accent the look the models wore crocheted woolen ants in their hair.

Overall an amazing collection.

Maria Grachvogel Spring Summer 2011

Maria Grachvogel's Spring/Summer 2011 collection was all about minimalism. Simplistic silhouettes were combined with contrasting textures. The trend of breezy silhouettes that was seen at NYFW continued in London. The collection had an emphasis on fluidity and motion and this was seen in the usage of cuts such as flowing maxi dresses, oversized pockets and fishtail dresses. The colour pallette included canary yellow, silver, gold, beige, caramel and tones of grey as well as printed patterns.
