British Fashion Awards Nominees

The BFC announced the finalists for the British Fashion awards and while the list has the usual suspects there are also a few surprises.

Victoria Beckham was nominated for her first British Fashion Award. If she ever needed validation that she was a serious fashion brand and then this nomination is that validation. She is nominated alongside Iconic brands such as Pringle Of Scotland, Burberry and Mulberry.

Another surprise in the list was the nomination of Lara Stone for British model of the year. Isn't Lara Stone Dutch? I know she is married to a Brit and has a British father but I was surprised to see her nominated in the category. The full list of nominations is below

Calvin Klein – X Marks Your World

Inspired by the success of their recent X Marks your Spot campaign (featuring Kellan Lutz, Hidetoshi Nakata, Fernando Verdasco and Mehcad Brooks) Calvin Klein has decided to take the ad campaign global and has launched X Marks your world. X Marks Your World gives guys around the world the opportunity to upload a video of themselves wearing Clavin Klein underwear to youtube and get them featured as part of the X Marks The World project.

P.S having the body of a Greek God will give you a better chance of being featured .

Untold Fashion Show returns to London Fashion Week

Untold London Fashion Week 'Untold' is returning to London fashion week for its 7th show. Untold is platform for emerging designers to present their collections to press and buyers during London Fashion Week. The show will take place on Monday 20th September 2010 at the Design Museum, Shad Thames, London, SE1 2YD. The Catwalk show takes place at 6pm, a Pop-up boutique opens at 1pm and there will be an after show soiree at 8pm.

Designers showing on the Untold catwalk this season include De Leon by Ricardo Ramos, Karla Sabina, Jasmine Howard-Evans, Eki Orleans, Charlotte Haggerty and the winner of Fashion Diversity 2010 (TBC).

The pop-up store will return, featuring a colourful array of creative and directional fashion and accessories. Visit the pop-up in the Fashion Bus to speak to the design talent of the future, view their new collections and pick up unique pieces.
