If you’re scratching your head wondering what the hell Shark Week is, then don’t worry, I was in exactly the same predicament a minute ago, it seems it’s an American TV tradition, which sounds rather scary to me. Not so much the idea of vegging out in front of the TV and watching sharks as much as having a week dedicated to anything on TV at the height of summer. This sounds like viral marketing gone mad, I know one thing, the Brits have too much weather to ever consider gawping at the boob tube when the sun is out, it’s shirts off, down the beach and gawping at real boobs on the beach for most red-blooded British males (except for goths and emos).
