Eco Friendly Silk Sarees Launching in Kerala

The Kerala government is set to embark a green mission with the launch of a new line of eco-friendly silk sarees for their market. They will be known as 'Thiruvananthapuram Silks' and are specially woven on handlooms and expert designers from South India. They have been roped in to bring out exquisite designs.

Without using machines or electricity, the branded silk would be produced exclusively through traditional weaving techniques. The skill and creativity of weavers are the sole input for the new variety.

Washing your hands and taking a leak just got easier with this space saving and ingenious Eco Urinal Concept. Designed by Yeongwoo Kim, the whole design incorporates wash basins above urinals which should help save some water as far as flushing time is concerned.

Other than being able to accommodate many more people who hafta go, this is one ideal concept to check out. Sensible and hopefully something that will move out of the concept stages!
