Neuber Lighweight Solar Panel Bags

New shoulder bags with solar panels have been released by Konarka Technologies and Neuber, providing solar recharging options for people with tons of gadgets on tow when they are on the go. Also known as the Sun Bag, power is drawn from the sun to create electric power which charges practically any gadget in use today.

The Sun Bags are the lightest on the market, weighing only 500 grams including the solar panel, battery and all of the charging cables. The bag itself is sized at 37 x 29 x 13 cm making it large enough for most devices, and its design is simple yet elegant.

The rechargeable battery is connected to a 1.4W solar panel; the supported devices are those that need a charging power supply up to 5V at 600mA.

Clothing made from recycled cotton and recycled polyester from plastic bottles and recycled yarn is now available courtesy of Tulong LLC. Tulong means "help" in Tagalog and the new activewear apparel were recently unveiled through a sustainable clothing brand, Repair the World.

These new activewear apparel will be on hand at the largest apparel tradeshow in -the U.S. in Las Vegas this week (August 17-19). Repair the World sells active wear clothing (women’s, junior’s, men’s, and children’s shirts, hoodies, and pants.
