Over in Scotland, people are going green as well as far as looking for alternative means to produce energy. That is perhaps satisfied with this large tidal turbine which can shed power to over 1,000 households.

Called the AK-1000, this turbine was built by Atlantis Resources Corporation of Singapore and weighs 130 tons. It stands over 70 feet tall and is capable of generating a full megawatt per hour and designed to be heavy-duty enough to survive in the turbulent waters off the coast of Scotland.
