Toshiba Shipping Eco-friendly LCD TVs Internationally

Toshiba is planning to go abroad this year with the goal of tapping the U.S. and Europe markets for their LCD TV needs. The new line of eco-friendly LCD TV sets will carry eco-friendly features that include a power saving 160 KWH which is the least you can get from the much hyped 3DTVs being raved about in the market today.

These new LCD TVs will come in 46 and 55 inch screen display sizes and are only 29mm thick. Packaging will weigh 33 per cent less than that of a conventional 46-inch set. By adding such designs to strong environmental performance, Toshiba aims to differentiate itself from South Korean competitors specializing in design alone.
