The Eco-Friendly Ford Explorer Has Arrived

Armed with better fuel economy and a lighter chassis, Ford has officially unveiled the 2011 Ford Explorer. The new vehicle boasts of an improved V6 engine that offers 20% better fuel economy and fitted with Ford's new four cylinder EcoBoost Engine.

The new Explorer is about the same size and only about 100lbs lighter than its predecessor. But while earlier models were built on a pick-up truck frame, the new model is classified as a crossover vehicle. A car-like chassis puts it closer to the ground with less towing and off-road capacity.

Vodafone presents the VF 247, its first eco-friendly and solar powered phone in Mumbai. The phone comes with an extended solar powered battery which charges itself when exposed to sunlight.

The phone also comes with Sun Boost and aims to address the needs of people who often have to deal with devices short on juice. The VF 247 solar powered phone comes with essential mobile phone features such as FM radio, color screen and a powerful torch light, and will shortly be commercially available.
