The artist is teaming up with Italian house Moncler to create jackets (and other activewear) from recycled PET bottles. The line will be called Pharrell Moncler and include such items as winter jackets that mimic the look of bullet proof vests. Why bullet proof vests? It’s the new hip urban look for Fall.

The Grammy Award winner owns Bionic Yarn, a New York-based textile company that makes fabric from recycled plastic bottles. For Fall/Winter 2010, Pharrell has teamed up with Franco-Italian activewear label Moncler to launch a special-edition collection of men's jackets made entirely from Bionic Yarn fabric.
