There will be two operators, Velo-Park and Chariots of Philly, which will initially deploy over a dozen bikecabs which will cost $1 per block. There will be a 5-block minimum. With this initiative, Philadelphia may yet join the ranks of the greenest cities in the world. This should be a spark and hopefully other eco-friendly initiatives will be launched as well.
