The Aeolus Concept Phone Comes with a Solar Panel and Wind Turbine

The battery or power life of mobile phones we have today may be variable and hence the need for reliable chargers to have along has become a need. We have seen solar chargers become available but if you can get a phone that has options on being able to recharge itself, why bother?

This is of course a concept. With the Aeolus phone, you get a built-in solar panel and wind turbine. Now all you have to do is expose your phone to some wind and sunlight to charge it up. Hook up the phone designed by Cyrene Quiamco to you bicycle or car and its little turbine generates energy using the wind.

Devotec Solar Sound 2 Bluetooth Portable Speakers

Devtoc unveils a new version of portable speakers with the Devotec Solar Sound 2 Bluetooth Portable Speakers. These are said to be more advanced and designed from the ground to produce deeper and clearer sound for better audio rendering.

The improved sounds are made possible thanks mainly to the new speaker cones, silver plated oxygen free copper speaker cabling,together with gold plated connectors and a more efficient power circuit. They retail for $99, not much of an adjustment from the original Devtoc Solar Sound Bluetooth speakers which came out back in July, 2009.
