In Quincy, Illinois an elementary school donates old chalkboards to artists who turn them into cool wall clocks. The wall clocks are fully functional and feature a reclaimed wood slate, one battery and a saw tooth wall-mounting bracket.

In Wisconsin, a school gym was remodeled and guess what they did with the wood floor?
The used wood was turned into a series of furniture pieces, including the table pictured above and other items. The top of the table though is not finished, so it has quite a rustic look to it. Not sure why it wasn’t refinished. But the premise behind the site is also about helping domestic violence women get back on their feet. How?
