World’s First Flexible OLED Panels from GE and Konica

General Electric and Konica Minolta have unveiled the world's first flexible OLED panels over at the Light + Building 2010 and LightFair 2010. These new flexible OLEDs produce energy-efficient white light and have a low¬carbon manufacturing footprint.

Their thinness allows them to be applied to any product such as desk lamps. A number of OLEDs in several configurations, focusing mainly on the flexible and ultra-thin form factor were showcased during the event as well.
