Burning rubber or tires has always been known to be dangerous for the environment. But on another note, if such a critical process can help provide alternative source of energy then perhaps a bright side could be seen. This is the case when a tire incinerator over at Ford Heights gained approval and even receive green energy credits.

This means that the words "incineration or burning of tires," giving tire burning the same status as wind and solar power, even though the practice releases plenty of toxic chemicals into the air such as carbon monoxide, butadiene, sulfur dioxide and styrene. The intent is good but perhaps looking at its after-effect should also be considered. One good practice negated by effects such as harming the atmosphere may eventually be entirely useless in the end.

Susan Boyle To Buy Eco-friendly Home

Susan Boyle, the same vocalist who rose to fame for singing "I Dreamed a Dream" on Britain's Got Talent in 2009 will be buying a new 1,700 sq. ft. eco-friendly home. The future home of Boyle is estimated to be worth around £300,000 or $425,000.

The new home will feature 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a double garage. It will be partly powered by solar panels. The word is out that Simon Cowell is going to give her the world’s best birthday present – a £4million royalty cheque on April Fool’s day, when she turns 49. That is about 6 million US dollars.
