New Honda Solar Hydrogen Stations In Full Gear

Honda has started the next generation solar hydrogen station prototype in Los Angeles intended for private home use for fuel cell vehicle owners. This refueling appliance will be capable of overnight refills for fuel cell electric vehicles. It produces enough hydrogen in an 8 hour overnight fill for daily commuting for fuel cell vehicles and was designed as a single unit to fit in a user's garage.

The new Solar Hydrogen Station will employ the same 48-panel, 6.0kW solar array that powered the previous system.

Solar PET Bottle Car

Here is an educational toy that should help you out raise eco awareness with your kids. It may not be that fancy but the Solar PET bottle car is an easy to assemble kit which you can have your kids play around the house with.

It comes with a solar power supply and works for 2 hours continuously. You have to find your own PET bottle though. But knowing how many of us have a lot of them lying around at home, this is a great way to re-use them for something else.
