In the good old days, rewinding or forwarding a cassette tape could be done with a finger or a pen. This was normally done to avoid wrecking the roll of tape recorder mechanism which would usually brake down from constant rewinding and forwarding. That same concept is back but for another purpose, battery charging.

This concept is from Song Teaho & Hyejin Lee and it allows you to charge your devices battery with a few quick spins on your finger.

That is the best way to explain this solar charger which was obviously made for the globe trotters. The Keystone Eco Tag solar charger is expected to ship next February for $35.
