| Bionic Asks: Do you wear false lashes? Posted: 09 Dec 2009 04:09 AM PST
In recent year’s lash “accessories” have become quite popular. From false eyelashes to extensions, tinting and dyeing, and lash growth serums (I recently used DeaBella with good results after a few months of use). The quickest and most accessible are false lashes. There are a multitude of designs, lengths, colors, and even ones adorned with rhinestones. You can get a full lash line, small partials or individual lashes. And you can get them at almost any store! My favorite is a full lash set from Ardell that I picked up a few years ago at my local drugstore (I paid around $4). I trimmed them a bit since it was too long for my natural lash line. They are easy to place, and are super comfy! I’ve also tried the Revlon Fantasy Length lashes, but they were so flexible that I had a really tough time getting them close to my natural lashes and keeping them straight. But again, they are pretty comfortable.
For less dramatic looks, I use a one centimeter partial lash (also by Revlon) and just apply it on the outer corner of my lids. It gives an “extra full” effect and looks acceptable even during the day. If you’re a newbie to false lashes, these are the type I would recommend. Due to the shorter segments, they are much easier to place and get close to your lash line. This week's Bionic Asks… Do you wear false eyelashes? For what occasions?
