Showdown Poker T-ShirtsIf you’re a poker player with a hankering for a collection of t-shirts that do justice to the game then the brand new sports label at Showdown Poker Gear offering some very hot graphic tees to satisfy even the top players. I’m not exactly what you’d call a poker player, to tell the truth the closest I’ve come to betting at cards was Blackjack with matchsticks with the family as a kid, but even I can see how much www.ShowdownPokerGear.com offer a full house of high roller shirts that would suit every player from novice to pro.

Big poker fans Joel and his brother Erik Jensen have taken two years to develop the concept, designs and store and they’ve done it to perfection. Poker tees, sports tees in general, have a rather bad reputation in the industry, in general little imagination is employed when it comes to sports merchandise, sure there are plenty of popular brands but sportswear doesn’t exactly excel in the graphic department. Something tells me that their style gurus are stuck in the 90s, dreaming of a corporate logo heaven where all consumers comply. However, in this case, that rather sweeping statement most certainly doesn’t apply.

SPG’s tees are made by poker players for poker players, they are all extremely high quality shirts, printed to perfection, and designed to literally stun the competition into submission. We all know about the ’stare’. the ‘poker face’, if your opponents can read your expression, or the fear in your eyes, or the eagerness in your grin, you won’t be cashing in any chips any time soon. However Showdown Poker Gear’s shirts are so stunning you’ll no doubt be able to cheat the other players will be that distracted. OK, maybe not, but wait until you see the intricacy of their work, it’s simply stunning.

Time to take a look at a right royal flush of slick poker shirts you can wear anywhere…

A really slick style with some extremely clean cut 2 tone graphics. If you’re an older woman who’d love to be adored by a full house you can hunt down this wild tee for $36.00 in sizes S to XL.

Nobody Bluffs Jesus Tee

Poker is all about reading the other player, more important even than the cards you have in your hand. If you can get the other guy to think you hold the superior hand, even if you don’t, he will often fold his hand. Hence, the ability to ‘bluff’ in poker is a highly valued skill. Nobody Bluffs Jesus takes it a little further, and although I’m not keen on religious shirts, this one sports a superb illustration, well worth a mention. Get this shirt at $36 in sizes M to XXL here.

Dead Man’s Hand Tee

Dead Man's Hand Tee at SPG

I am reliably informed that this is most famous hand in poker. The Dead Man’s Hand is a two-pair poker hand, namely 2 black Aces and 2 black eights. The hand gets its name from the legend of Wild Bill Hickock, who was supposedly holding the five-card-draw hand when he was shot and killed on August 2, 1876. This event occurred in Deadwood, in the Black Hills of the Dakotas during the Gold Rush era. This t-shirt features SPG’s rendition of Wild Bill holding that legendary hand, and illustratively exudes an old-time style from the Old West. Get this luxurious tee in sizes M to XXL for $39 here.

Poker Face Tee

Forget Lady Gaga, before she was even a twinkling in her parents eyes Poker Face has obviously been a common term in poker. With a poker face, you ‘ll never give away your hand or your whereabouts to the wife the next morning either. The opposite of this is called a ‘tell’, wherein the poker player changes his expression or body language based on the cards he/she is dealt, thus giving others around him a clue to what they are holding. The Poker Face shirt features ornately hand-drawn lettering, and a sinister looking skull to represent the prized ‘poker face.’ Buy this shirt for $36 in sizes M to XXL here.
