Ever since the GREEN movement picked up steam, there’s not shortage of goods made from recycled materials. Case in point? English Retreads, a Colorado based company that creates vintage bags made from recycled truck tires. The stylish bags come in several colors and each one is totally unique, the cute one in the pic above is called the BEETLE. One of their best selling bags.

If where you live there’s no curbside recycling offered, give new website eCycler a try. Essentially this is a matchmaking site of sorts, matching the recycler with the recyclee. You register on the site as either the one who has recyclables or as the one who will do the pick up. It’s free to use for both right now, as the site is in BETA. A fancy word for “in testing phase”. eCycler is a pretty cool site for those who don’t have easy access to home recycling options, and for those who want to help out. Not knowing if there would be chemicals, toxins or even some dangerous hazards with other baby seats, here is one made of cardboard. We have been hearing about cardboard-based furniture so why not expand that to accommodate babies? Paper Tiger's baby seat is unique and is made from recyclable materials which should be sturdy enough to hold any toddler. The baby chair is lightweight and easy to transport. | New Eco-Friendly Volvo C30 Concept Car Posted: 18 Dec 2009 09:36 PM PST  Volvo has released its all-electric compact car with the Volvo C30. This latest prototype will be debuting next month at the Detroit Auto Show. This will be the first car to feature an all-electric drivetrain and full interior complete with instrumentation. image via Karina’s Kitchen Great vegetarian recipe from the animal rights group Compassion Over Killing. I just got it in the mail today and thought you would quite enjoy it. Let me know what you think? (in the comment area below) Apple And Cranberry Stuffed Acorn Squash Serves 3 to 4 INGREDIENTS:
1. Preheat the oven to 350F. 2. Slice the acorn squash in half, scrape out the seeds and the strings. Place bo halves face down in a casserole pan filled with 1.2 inch of water. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes. 3. Put the peeled and sliced apples, dried cranberries, brown sugar, and pine nuts (if using) into a bowl and toss until well mixed. 4. Remove the steamed acorn squash from the oven. Pour out any remaining water in the casserole pan. Turn the halves face up and fill with the apple mixture. Top with the soy margarine and nutmeg. Cover the pan loosely with tin foil and bake until the squash, apples, and cranberries are soft, about 30 minutes. via Compassion Over Killing Need Green Web Hosting?
