image via Chase N An industrious lady in the Philippines creates lovely Christmas decorations from recycled magazines and other recycled papers. She owns a decor company (Tamilee Industries) and normally creates upscale Christmas decorations, but one day decided to do something with a very BIG pile of magazines she had laying around. And the result was amazing. To her delight, she ended up crafting quite the Christmas flower.
The recycled line of Christmas decor is not yet available to consumers and probably won’t be till late next year, but now you know about this fabulous line so that if and when it comes out, you can go have a look at your local Christmas decor shop. via ABS News Need Green Web Hosting? | The Mountain Dew Can Christmas Tree Posted: 14 Dec 2009 08:21 PM PST Softdrink in cans have been known to come out with bright and colorful designs mainly to get some attention. But the problem is how to properly dispose of them, recycling of which is an option. And just in case you are too lazy to do that and put waste where they should be, perhaps this Christmas season can bring out the creativity in you. Something like collecting used Mountain Dew cans and structuring them to be your official Christmas tree perhaps? This exceptional idea was made possible by using hundreds of soda cans. A PVC pipe was used as the backbone, and the cans were glued on to the ends of strips of metal wire. A two liter bottle was used as the top with LED lights used to lighten up the Christmas tree. Now that is one DIY Christmas tree that you may want to try making at home perhaps with a Coke can? (Source) Gizmo Diva Need Green Web Hosting? Check out our latest review of green web hosts.
