| Bionic Review: L’Oreal longwear infallible lipgloss Posted: 29 Nov 2009 04:29 AM PST During a Buy 1, Get 1 free sale at Walgreens, I grabbed L’Oreal Infallible Plumping Lipgloss in Plumped Mauve (my free item was another of the HiP Kohl Liners!). I’m always looking for a long(er) wearing lipgloss that’s affordable, has good color, and doesn’t compete with honey on the stickiness scale.  L'Oreal's Infallible Lipgloss in Plumped Mauve The Infallible gloss fared pretty well in my testing. It did not dry out my lips, lasted for about 3 hours (I don’t know how they can claim it would last 8+ hours… I guess maybe if you did nothing but sit on the couch.), and wasn’t overly sticky. However, the plumping aspect fell flat. I didn’t notice even the smallest change in my lips. But… I honestly didn’t expect it to plump either. Get it for the color, not for the plumping aspect. Plumped Mauve is a berry-toned pink with lots of shimmer, I loved the color. Perfect for day, yet enough color that when I lose my tan this winter, I won’t look washed out wearing this gloss. I do wish it had a bit more depth like Clinique’s Longwear or Bobbi Brown’s glosses, but for a BOGO I’m not complaining too much.
