Goodie Two Sleeves Funny TeesGoodie Two Sleeves are certainly starting to make waves over this side of the Atlantic, their range of funny t-shirts may be a familiar sight over in the States but this very well established brand are starting to go down a storm in Britain. Established around 7 years ago they’ve finally decided to crack the British market (and then some) with contracts with high street names like Top Shop and Bank Fashion they’ve now started to ship direct to the UK and so we think it’s time they got a little bit more attention for their range of humorous tees. What’s more they’re having a massive sale next week, aptly named ‘Black Week’ in recognition of the US shopping spree day, Black Friday. They have hundreds of original tees and several awesome licenses too - they’re the US distributor for UK brand Lazy Oaf amongst others. From next week (23/11 to 29/11) all of Goodie 2 Sleeves’ shirts will be available at half price, to get your 50% discount simply enter YOUCRAZY84 when you reach their checkout and save a bundle.

Their site is a lot of fun too, nicely presented with plenty of customer participation, check out their fan pics as well as a bunch of celebrities who wear their gear, including the band Flaming Lips amongst others. Anyway, fancy a laugh? Let’s look at some funny tees then…

Yearbook Tee

Yearbook Tee (for girls) at Goodie Two Sleeves

This looks like a cracker, I say ‘looks like’ because GTS don’t seem to offer enlarged images or a zoom function at their store, which is a real shame, because I’d love to take a closer look at all the snide comments and offensive doodles I am certain are going on in their Yearbook Tee. I’m not sure if the current generation of school/college leavers in the UK have yearbooks. I know I didn’t, although the uncool kids all turned up for the last day of every school year and posed for a school photo which was, for all intensive purposes, a total waste of time. Essentially the camera would take so long to expose a shot that half the kids looked like their number was up aka in the style of the Japanese horror classic ‘The Ring‘.

You know, the one where you’d see a dodgy artsy video and then get a phone call telling you you were going to die in seven days. Essentially every camera those poor saps walked past would smear their image like it was oil on water. What’s more, when you have over 500 kids sitting down for a photograph you’re bound to find one or two jokers who manage to appear at both ends of the elongated shot, just for a laugh. Still I’m sure this tee is a modern classic, if only I could see it in a little more detail. Available for girls in sizes S to XL for $21.98 (or half price in the sale!).

Fat Kids Love Cake Tee

Fat Kids Love Cake Tee (Guys) at Goodie Two Sleeves

As the old saying goes, sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind, and all the better when you can do it in a hilarious way. The Fat Kids Love Cake tee for men does just that, and if it helps prevent childhood obesity and frees up a little more space on public transport all the better I say. I know what you’re thinking, it’s glandular, they’ll grow out of it, they’re just ‘big boned’. Nonsense, if you see your kid stuffing their face with cake all day then you’ve got a problem on your hands. Chubby can be cute, but once they’re having trouble running for the school bus it’s time to replace that chocolate gateau with something healthier, like fruit. Although if you do prepare for a year or two of almighty sulks. I knew a fat kid at school, who I know doubt is now a fat man, who was forced into entrepreneurialism just to get his fix of chocolate, candy and school currant buns. He’d do homework for food, his rucksack was so filled with it by the end of the week he started selling crisps and sweets he didn’t fancy, he’s probably a CEO somewhere by now. Fat maybe, but rich too I no doubt. Get this hilarious t-shirt for guys in sizes S to XL for $17.98 (or half price in the sale!)

Go Flock Yourself Tee

Go Flock Yourself Tee (Guys) at Goodie Two Sleeves

Flock of Seagulls are probably the most lampooned, most ridiculed band in the history of pop, and it’s all because of the lead singer’s haircut. I have a confession to make, I was one of the few who loved ‘Wishing (If I Had a Photograph of You)‘, which is I guess their only hit, or at least the only one over here in the UK. Still, the haircut was the worst, it might have been an elaborate comb-over for a prematurely balding pop-star, that’s only a theory though, no slander intended. Anyway for those who want to suffer the full force of this follically inspired moment in pop history, here’s the video to keep you amused for a minute or two.

So if you fancy getting into the early 80s New Wave groove then you might want to start by getting a Go Flock Yourself Tee (Guys) at $21.98 (or half price in the forthcoming sale) in sizes S to XL here.

Unibrow Tee

Unibrow Tee (Girls) at Goodie Two Sleeves

I don’t what it is with unicorns at the moment, they seem to be coming out of the woodwork from all directions, fortunately the latest wave of these take a distinctly sarcastic attitude towards what is probably one of the most ridiculous mythical creatures ever created. Still that’s most obviously a male opinion. I’m sure there are plenty of girls/women who still live for the idea of a horny horse, which no doubt, if Freud were still alive, he’d have a field day with that psychological conundrum. No matter, GTS are stepping in with a nice piece of wordplay humour, combining two pet hates in to one superb funny tee. Unibrow, it needs little explanation I assure you, so moving swiftly on, you can get this comedy gem for $21.98 (or half price in the Black Week sale) in sizes S to XL for girls here.

For an abundance of more funny t-shirts and some serious bargains to come in the next week check out all of Goodie Two Sleeves’ tees at www.GoodieTwoSleeves.com.
