Just a friendly Bionic Beauty reminder that I’ll be “live blogging” from the International Spa Association (ISPA for short) expo over the next few days.

I’ll be covering brands such as Essie, Lexli Skin Care, Clarisonic (I’m probably the only gal who hasn’t tried this gadget yet…), ConAir, Mystic Tan, StriVectin, Borghese, Aveda, B Kamins, Murad and lots of smaller indie brands that I haven’t heard of yet.

So keep an eye here for extra articles upcoming about the events and ongoings, plus for up-to-the-minute happenings, be sure to watch my Twitter page (or check for my latest tweets in the right sidebar of the Bionic Beauty blog)! I’ll be tweeting photos of products and people (Lance Armstrong is attending!), and hopefully some stories of fun experiences.

I hope I can keep you all entertained!

Product Review: Fresh Lotus Eye Gel

Bionic Bronnie reviews Fresh's Lotus Eye Gel

Bionic Beauty blog review - Fresh Lotus Eye Gel

I was so excited when I discovered this product last year from Fresh. Fresh hit the market with a bang, but is slowly and increasingly disappointing me.

This eye gel is intended to soothe puffy, tired eyes. I even kept it in the fridge for an additional cooling effect. When I applied it, it sent me screaming into the bathroom grasping for the cool water and eye drops. It burned my eyes like crazy!

If used very carefully at a safe distance from the eye, it does have a temporary de-puffing result. However, after having tested it twice now, I’m sad to say that the results just aren’t worth the pain. There are plenty of eye creams and gels out there that don’t sting and produce better results!
