Cassette tapes are passé and for sure you would be told that they can be recycled to something else. Apparently here is a new output once they are recycled, ties. And they are not just plain wearable ties, they are playable as well. They are designed by Alyce Santoro and Julio Cesar. They are made from 50% colored thread and 50% recorded audio cassette tapes.

The Sonic Fabric Neckties are available from Supermarket in black, dark brown and grey and retail for $90. Check out the video.

Ok so Halloween has just passed but among the gadgets we overlooked are the ones using eco-friendly means. One such gadget that should not escape our eyes is this Solar Light Up Skull. It has a natural bone-like finish and is made out of a resin that makes it durable in all different types of weather. That makes it even better to just sit it out and not have to worry about it for a while. It comes with a Ni-Cad battery that the solar panel will charge. It retails for about $20.69 and is available at UXSight.

Apparently the Armorlite EcoSafety Coatings act as skins for the bulbs which stay intact even if the bulb inside shatters. These protective skin bulbs are expected to come out in the coming months are expected to retail for about $7.99.

The batteries include AA-, AAA-, C- and D-sized batteries which come with a universal charger. The eneloop universe products is a series of products based on the eneloop concept of a lifestyle that values reusing and recycling. These batteries are available in various pack options.

Retailed at Rs. 450.00, Rs.730.00, Rs.390.00 and Rs.460.00 respectively, these batteries are available at JSK Marketing Pvt. Ltd., the sole distributor of Sanyo Energy Corporation in India
