Leona Lewis - Happy Official Music Video

Happy by Leona Lewis is guaranteed to be another huge number 1, it is simply amazing. Leona is also looking better than ever in the video. I was trying to find an excuse to post this video because I just love the song. Most of this blogs content focuses on British fashion, photography and art. So here is my justification for posting about this music video.

1. Leona is British and in the video she is wearing a dress by British Fashion designer. Vivienne Westwood so their is the British fashion element of the post.

2.The director of the video is also a Brit and videography is kind of like moving photography so this post has fashion and photography.

Speaking of the videography, this music video is simply amazing and the video plays out like an emotional little movie. The video was directed by Jake Nava who hails from Hackney, London. He is the mastermind behind Beyonce's video for Single Ladies which has been parodied thousands of times. He also recently directed She Wolf by Shakira and has done videos for The Rolling Stones, Mariah, Britney, Natasha Bedingfield, Dido and many more.

10 Magazine Winter 2009: Katie Fogarty by Jessica Craig-Martin

Ten Magazine is known for their artistic covers. They usually have some of the more creative covers and they are also one of the few fashion magazines who don't feature celebrities on the covers of their issues. The latest issue of the quarterly features Katie Fogarty as shot by photographer Jessica Craig-Martin . The headline reads "TOO LIPPY" and shows Katie with an angst ridden expression wiping lipstick off of her face. Its gutsy but I am not sure if I would have chosen it as the cover ( I am one of those old school guys who thinks covers need to have eyes in them) but nonetheless its a great picture.

Jimmy Choo founder Tamara Mellon gives a behind the scenes look at her collection for H&M. As well as accessories the line also includes dress. The Jimmy Choo collection for H&M will arrive in stores on November 14th. Ifthe other launches of designers at H&M are any indication expect this one to be absolute Mayhem with fashionistas storming the store to be the first to purchase the collection.
